We’re Not a Corporation. We’re a Couple of Nerds Who Love Robots.
No fancy backstory here.
We didn’t start this company with investors or a polished pitch deck. We started it because we were tired of digging through half-broken online marketplaces, trying to find decent robot parts in bulk — and coming up short.
I’ve been in the robotics space for over a decade. Started out as a tinkerer, building junky motorized cars out of scrap and old RC parts. Then came coding, prototyping, teaching robotics workshops… the usual evolution. You start with a servo motor and suddenly you’re helping a school program build autonomous bots for a science fair.
But the real turning point? It happened during a late-night panic.
The Moment That Changed Everything
I was helping a friend set up a robotics lab for middle schoolers. He needed 20 kits. Fast.
I figured, no big deal — I’ll just order them online.
What followed was a disaster: kits arrived late, missing components, sensors didn’t work, wiring was a mess. A few were complete fakes. I spent hours patching things together just to get enough working sets before the class started.
That was the moment I realized: there’s no easy, reliable, human-centered source for wholesale robotics gear.
So I decided to build one.
What We Stand For
We started wholesale-robotics.com with a super simple goal:
Make it easy to get good robotics gear in bulk — and treat people like actual humans while doing it.
That’s the whole philosophy.
We believe in:
- Quality over quantity
- Real support, not canned replies
- Shipping orders like we’d want to receive them
- And building relationships, not just transactions
If we can’t explain something clearly, we won’t sell it. If we wouldn’t use a kit ourselves, it doesn’t leave our shelves. And if you’re confused or overwhelmed by all the options? We’ll walk through it with you — no pressure.
Who’s Behind This?
Just a small team. No suits. No outsourcing. Just folks who genuinely enjoy this space.
We’re former STEM instructors, tinkerers, makerspace junkies, and, yeah — the kind of people who still get excited about a new proximity sensor.
Some of us came from teaching. Others came from product design. A few just showed up at the workshop one day and never left (kidding… sort of).
We pack the orders ourselves. We test parts ourselves. We’re proud of that.
Why We Stay Small (On Purpose)
Could we add 500 more SKUs? Sure. Could we automate everything and “scale” like the internet says we should?
Maybe.
But that’s not what we’re after. We’re not trying to be Amazon. We’re trying to be the place where educators, developers, and builders know they’ll be treated right.
We stay small so we can stay real. That means:
- No bloated supply chains
- No ghosting after you place an order
- No guessing what you’re actually going to get
When you message us, you’re talking to someone who packed your order or sourced your kit. And we’re proud of that too.
What’s Next?
We’ve shipped to classrooms, labs, garages, and even desert research stations. Every order makes us a little more excited about what this community is building.
If we can be a part of your project, your school, your startup — we’re honored.
And if you’re just getting started in robotics? We’re cheering for you. Everyone starts somewhere. We’d love to help you begin.
Thanks for being here.
Let’s build something that moves.
